Finding Faith In The Storm
Doubt destroys faith, and it was the reason for destroying
Peter's faith that he could walk on water with the Lord's
assistance. But, Jesus still saves him at the right moment.
This story proves that the Lord is always available to help us
through our hardships. But, it is us humans who doubt him
and separates ourselves from him (King James Version Of
The Holy Bible).
Today’s church must stay focus on Jesus even during
times of battles and hardships.
American churches have become like an army in the
recent decades. Christian life has been promoted by these
churches for their benefits. Faith in Jesus Christ is no longer
the main focus of these modern churches. Modern churches
preach to people to accept Jesus Christ for benefits like
prosperity and peace. It is easy to have faith in the Lord and
trust in his wisdom when things are going all right.
The Bible makes it very clear that the Christian life is not
only about prosperity and happiness. In reality, it is a
battleground. God does not save us so that we can forever
live in peace. In reality, Christians are part of the Lord's army
who have the responsibility to serve the Lord, even in the
times of hardships and during battle. The best way to serve
the Lord is to have faith in him even when everything is
going wrong (King James Version Of The Holy Bible).
Today’s churches must also focus on Jesus Christ. They
must tie themselves to Jesus when in middle of a storm and
not just in happier times. Before preaching the importance
of faith in the Lord during difficult times to the masses, the
