Finding Faith In The Storm
does not love God. God will not call he or she for fulfilling his
purpose. In fact, all the events that occur in the life of such
a person may lead to his or her destruction (King James
Version Of The Holy Bible).
Paul states, “What shall we say then, in all things I have
learned to be content?”
We all understand that the state of contentment is not
the natural tendency of man. Wanting more is the natural
propensity of humankind. God sometimes provides man
with prosperity in abundance and sometimes a man may not
be provided with anything by God (King James Version Of
The Holy Bible).
Paul learns to be content in all situations. It was not
natural for him to be content. God had sometimes provided
Paul with prosperity, and he was used to living in
abundance. But, God also withholds his support for Paul to
test him. The Lord tested Paul with bad times to make him
more godlike. Therefore, instead of lamenting the lack of
prosperity, Paul learned to be content with his condition. It
did not come to him naturally, but Paul learned to become
a content man by walking every day with God (King James
Version Of The Holy Bible).
Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
In Hebrews 11 and verse 6, the Bible says that without
faith it is impossible to please God. The concept of faith is
very important in the Judeo Christian traditions. Without
faith, a person cannot believe in the Gospel and in Jesus who
died for our sins. If a person does not believe that Jesus died
