Understanding Faith

for our sins, then, his or her sins would still be attached to

them. These sins would separate them from the Lord (King
James Version Of The Holy Bible).

Faith is very important for a person to receive salvation.
It is crucial for being saved by the Lord and coming close to

him. Faith is a belief in God and his promises. God gives us
the freedom to choose to believe in him or not to do so (King
James Version Of The Holy Bible).

                 Examples of Active Faith

                 “Faith without works is dead.”

A person who has faith also needs to put in the work.
James 2:14-26 says that a person who has faith cannot just

be saved because of it. Faith by itself cannot work wonders.
Hard work with faith in God is required to get over hardships
and challenges in life (King James Version Of The Holy Bible).

The Bible teaches us that God loves a cheerful giver.

Paul himself says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that God loves a
cheerful giver. Paul's intentions with this quote were not to
persuade people to give up their wealth for others by

tricking them. In fact, he makes it clear that everyone should
give whatever they are capable of giving. They should give
with an open heart. A real Christian gives to the less
fortunate because he wants to help them and not because

of God's blessings. There is no compulsion in giving. A
person should serve others only if he wants to do so (King
James Version Of The Holy Bible).
